InciSioN sent a delegation of four in-person and two virtual delegates to attend the 68th UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at United Nations HQ, New York.

This included delivering an impactful oral statement advocating for increased investment in surgical care. This participation underscored the importance of surgery in advancing global health and development goals.

As part of InciSioN's delegation to the UN Civil Society Conference, we had the incredible opportunity to represent global surgery on a global platform. Engaging in discussions with leaders and advocates from diverse fields, we amplified the importance of equitable access to surgical care and strengthened our commitment to achieving health for all. This experience has not only enriched our advocacy skills but also fostered new collaborations to push the agenda for global surgery forward. 

InciSioN's involvement in events like the WHA drives global surgery advancement, advocating for funding and policy recognition, and fulfilling its mission of ensuring safe surgery for everyone, everywhere.

As the first InciSioN delegation to WHA, the organization witnessed and forged discussions furthering our priority areas in global surgery.

InciSioN is proud to participate in the United Nations Summit of the Future 2024 in New York, a pivotal event addressing global challenges and shaping the future of international cooperation. As global health advocates, we will highlight the essential role of equitable access to surgical care in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This summit provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with world leaders and policymakers to drive forward innovative solutions for a healthier, more just future. 

InciSioN will take part in the 79th UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in 2024, New York. AMR poses a significant global threat, and our delegation will advocate for stronger international collaboration to address its impact on surgical outcomes and healthcare systems. Through discussions with global leaders, we aim to emphasize the urgent need for sustainable policies and practices to combat AMR, ensuring safer surgical care and better health for all.

This premier global health event brings together experts, policymakers, and advocates to address critical health challenges.
